(A) Large RAD Pennant. The large RAD Pennant measures 48" x 79". The Pennant is constructed of a cotton twill fabric. The center of the pennant is decorated with the printed RAD organizations emblem. A few small holes and scattered stains can be observed in a few areas. The Pennant is complete with its reinforcement edge with two loops for attaching. CONDITION: EXCELLENT (B) NSDAP Ortsgruppe Leutershaufen Banner. The banner measures 52" x 46", and is constructed of red synthetic weave background. The background has a few scattered holes roughly the size of a rice grain. The banners central disc is applied to both sides of the banner and is constructed of a white cotton till fabric with printed swastikas. The discs are attached using a zig-zag machine stitch method. Light patina and scattered freckling throughout the white discs can be seen, as well as a few small holes roughly the size of a pea. The edges of the banner are tried with a silver aluminum band, which is adorned with silver aluminum twist fringes. The silver aluminum band and fringes have taken on a golden appearance from the years of patina. The upper corner of the banner features the corner patch in with brown backing and light blue trim, the blue trim signifies this banner is meant for an Ortsgruppe. The center of the corner patch is chain stitched in white thread with the towns name of "Leutershaufen". The edge of the banner s complete with the attachment clip as well as the four, originally attached, pole rings meant to secure the lower edges of the banner to the parade pole. CONDITION: VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT.
