Kriegsmarine 7 x 50 U-Boat binoculars of the type known to have been produced by "Carl Zeiss" from Jena, which used the 3-letter code of "blc". The markings "blc", power "7 x 50", and serial number would be on the right side housing cover, under the rubber protective cover. Due to the protective cover being dry and cracked from someone having checked in the past, the cover was not removed to confirm this, in order to prevent further damage. These U-Boat binoculars were known to have been made between 1943-1945. Binoculars retain approximately 90% of their light green painted finish with stains and aging throughout. Optics are bright and clear, and all four black rubber protectors are dry and cracked along the edges which are slipped over the lenses. CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
