This German Third Reich RAD Banner measure 50" x 45" x 2". The banner is constructed of multiple pieces. The base of the banner is constructed of a double layer of red dyed cotton twill, which has only a few small moth nips scattered throughout. The large black background swastika is present on both sides of the banner, and is overlaid with the wheat & spade emblem for the RAD organization. The swastika is constructed of a fine black cloth which is trimmed with a subdued grey border. No damage can be observed on the swastika. The RAD emblem is constructed of a white cotton base layer which is decorated with the RAD organizations wheat and spade design applied with chain stitching. A few areas of the chain stitching have started to become unattached. The emblems wreath is constructed of a thick cotton embroidery. The edges of the banner is adorned with a silver fringe which is constructed of dozens of double twist aluminum threads, which are attached to the banner on three edges by means of a silver wire tape.
