This single reel Eagle Mfg. check reward machine is rare in its own right with featured side vendor, but this particular version is double-rare as it features a single reel marked with countries like the Mills Tourist, where you pick your country, pull the handle and if your country comes up, you win the appropriate reward in trade. The feature to select your country appears where other Square Deal machine have a panel below the color match, and this machine most likely had a marquee at one time to list the rewards. The oak cabinet is in nice patina, the back door is a replacement, and the machine was probably re-plated in nickel some time ago. All that said, this is a very rare Square Deal and most worthy of attention. Working and keys. Circa 1911.
