Very little is known about this early French figural vending machine that vended chocolate cigars. Wooden construction with a cast white metal guard. Upon depositing what appears to be 10 centimes and pulling the lever below the guard, he will turn around and pick up a chocolate cigar and return it to the forward position. The mechanism appears complete, the paint and graphics are all original, the instruction sheet is in french and translates to depositing the coin and operating the lever. There is wear to the machine, paint loss and oxidation to the metal components, however it has a fantastic look and is a stunning example of early vending.
Condition: (Good - Very Good).
Item Dimensions: 25" x 11 - 1/2" x 10".
