A) Saber bayonet marked at the ricasso "Collins & Co Hartford Conn", non functioning spring. Reproduction scabbard. CONDITION: The blade shows a dark / grey surface mixed with minor surface roughness. Spring latch shows pitting and is unmoving. B) Saber bayonet and scabbard, marked at the ricasso "Collins & Co Hartford Conn", working spring. Leather scabbard with brass mounts. CONDITION: Very good with bright blade showing minor staining. Scabbard with a few areas of minor crazing. C) Saber bayonet and scabbard, marked at the ricasso "Collins & Co Hartford Conn", working spring. Leather scabbard with brass mounts and leather frog. CONDITION: Very good, mostly bright blade with a few small areas of light pitting at the ricasso. Scabbard body with losses to the surface and glued seam. DG
