Early SA dagger with an excellent "RZM, M7/66, 1940" marked bright blade, with moderate runner and scattered marks, and very light freckling. The blade's cross graining is very distinct, with some light stains. Solid nickel fittings have a uniform light age patina, and the cross guard has the SA District marking of "P" (Pommern). Rosewood grip is near mint with some very light damage on the back near the top cross guard. SA emblem and eagle are original to the grip and in excellent condition. Painted steel scabbard retains 95+% of its original brown painted finish with crackling. Plated nickel steel fittings have light freckling and scratches CONDITION: Overall excellent to near mint. WZ
