This exceedingly rare 25¢ trade stimulator is mounted on the original swivel base. This Caille Busy Bee is in original nickel finish, retains the original color wheel and is very rare in that it is a 25¢ operation. With a wheel of five colors, generally the busy bee would have five coin slots accepting a nickel to bet the color. This one has three coin slots and pays three cigars for white, two cigars for yellow, and one cigar for green. The award card says the other two colors - red and black - are blank. A huge risk in 1900 for a 25¢ bet and a 3 in 5 chance to win anything. The lithographed wheel is an excellent original. Plays great. Includes key. Circa 1899.
