Lot Contains: (A) The Luftwaffe 2nd Model Dagger has a nickel plated blade with the maker mark for "SMF", as well as the "Luftamt 5"mark. The blade exhibits light runner marks, with light patina and freckling throughout both sides of the blade. The aluminum cross-guard is without damage, and a small amount of lacquer resides on the swastika area. The orange trylon grip is wound with a double twist aluminum cord. The grip has a small crack on the reverse side. The aluminum pommel has no visible damage. The steel body scabbard has developed a light patina throughout and is without any visible damage. CONDITION: VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT. (B) The Kriegsmarine Dagger has a nickel plated, acid etched, blade with the makers mark for the firm of "F.W. Holler". The blade features the typical ship motif etching. The blade has only minimal freckling, mostly near the ricasso area. The gilded brass guard and pommel cap are with light patina and no visible damage. The grip is the later synthetic coated wooden core type, and shows no visible damage. The brass scabbard is the standard version, with a small dent on the obverse side and light patina in areas. CONDITION: VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT. D.W.
