The Mystic Swami was produced in 1954 by International Mutoscope Co., similar to the earlier version named "Zelda" , but for the first time with a male Fortune Teller. The male version was not a hit and the Mystic Swami's rarity made it a most sough after machine for collectors who appreciated the rarity stoic look. There are 11 known machines in existence today. This example has an excellent colorful original interior, original glass on three sides that read "Mystic Swami" and original working mechanism. The Swami's eyes light up and hands move over the lit crystal ball, then delivers your fortune card below. Coin mechanism needs adjustment to work 100% properly, but machine plays well. Repainted cabinet in exact original 1954 colors. there were Snake Charmer graphics on the original that if applied would make this example complete. The graphics are available. Has keys and comes with extra fortune cards.
