The massive 8-3/4" blade measures 2" wide and is stamped near the top, on the left side, with the Scagel kris stamp. The handle measures about 5-1/2" and is about 1-5/8" wide with a 1-5/8" diameter crown stag pommel. Multiple leather, red composite, brass, and silver spacers. The interesting notch below the choil is usually only seen on Scagel's larger knives. Very few large camp Scagel knives are known to exist. Perhaps between 8 and 10 at the most. CONDITION: Very good overall with light storage marks. Edge shows light sharpening marks. PROVENANCE: From the personal Collection of Dr. James R. Lucie.
