The straight, double edged 7-1/4" blade measures 1-5/8" thick and is diamond section in shape and quickly tapers from a large, wide blade to a fine point. Marked on one side near the top with a deep Scagel kris. The thick spine runs through the center of the diamond section blade. The full brass guard is followed by a thick and large handle measuring about 5-1/4" overall with numerous silver, brass, copper, red, and leather spacers and crotch stag pommel retained by single brass pin. This very desirable fighting knife is complete with its original green leather scabbard. The back is marked with large initials "P.R.M" using a series of punched dots. CONDITION: Blade shows some patination and light sharpening to edges. Marking is excellent. Handle is very good. Spacers show some minor shrinkage and marks. Sheath is excellent with some scattered marks. PROVENANCE: From the personal collection of Dr. James R. Lucie. DMG
