The straight, double grind blade is stamped with Scagel's kris at the top within the triangle on one side. Blade measures about 1-1/8" in width with a rare 7" length. The small brass double guard is followed by numerous leather, red fiber, silver, and brass spacers, and a crotch stag pommel retained by a single brass pin. Complete with its original dark leather scabbard. CONDITION: Blade shows some light wear and marks from sheath and some minor darkening at top against brass guard. Marking is good. Handle is very good, showing some green tarnishing around brass spacers and two thin gaps. Scabbard sheath is very good. PROVENANCE: From the personal collection of Dr. James R. Lucie. DMG
