High condition USMC P44 fatigue jacket with matching P44 fatigue trousers. The set appears to be unissued, as there are no names or unit markings stamped anywhere on the jacket or trousers. The trousers exhibit a stamped spec tag, marked size 36 and dated January 22, 1945. The jacket is also a size 36 but the spec tag is faded and does not display the date. The jacket still has loose threads that any Marine would trim before inspection. The only thing missing to guarantee that this set is unissued are factory cutter tags. CONDITION: The USMC stamp is crisp and bright with no signs of fading. the jacket and trousers both retain all of their original USMC marked metal buttons. The green herringbone twill is still bright and the set is clean with no stains or tarnishing. Overall excellent, sets this clean are rare and seldom come up for sale. JD
