Lot consists of: A) USAAF Type D-12 compass made by the Bendix Aviation Corporation. 6-1/2" diameter blackened case. Contained within a non-fitting wood box. CONDITION: Appears to be functioning. Case with minor discoloration. B) U.S. Navy Mark I Model 2 compass and bearing gauge by the Pathe Mfg. Corp. N.Y., N.Y., dated 1943. Mounted on a brass-bound mahogany base measuring 11-3/4" X 11-3/4" and 7-5/8" high, bearing a brass manufacturers label with the same information as the instrument. CONDITION: Appears to be in working condition and showing minor wear only. C) Compass measuring 6-1/4" wide, suspended on gimbals. Marked "E.M. Sherman Seattle U.S.A.". CONDITION: Appears to be in working condition. Interior paint flaked away. D) Brass Natural Sine compass. Case measures 2-7/8" X 3". CONDITION: Mirror under the lid shows damage to the silvering. Compass and leveling bubbles functioning. DG
