Lot contains: A) Third Reich First Pattern Luftwaffe Dagger with a "ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN" marked nickel-plated blade which exhibits very light staining, freckling, runner and scattered marks, and a few tiny nicks to the cutting edge. Nickel fittings exhibit heavy patina and staining. The leather wire-wrapped grip has light to moderate wear and the wire is intact.The blue leather covered steel scabbard has moderate wear with scrapes and light dents. The nickel silver scabbard fittings exhibit heavy patina and staining throughout, with a few scattered light marks. The nickel silver chain exhibits the same patina as the fittings of the scabbard. CONDITION: Overall very good. B) Third Reich Second Model Luftwaffe Dagger with a "WKC, SOLINGEN" marked blade exhibits factory cross graining along the length of the blade. Blade has light runner and scattered marks, with light to moderate areas of freckling. Wire-wrapped trylon grips have light wear with no visible damage to the wire. Aluminum fittings have heavy patina and staining, and an original Luftwaffe style portepee is attached to the grip, with heavy wear. The nickel plated steel scabbard has heavy patina throughout with heavy freckling. CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
