Lot contains: (A) Attributed Imperial German Wuerttemberg M89 Officer sword with a "M. NEUMANN HOFLIEFERANT BERLIN" marked blade measuring 32". Nickel plated blade is excellent, has very light freckling, runner and scattered marks, with a 5" panel near the cross guard with the officer's name etched on. The blade tip has a tiny ding from being dropped at some point. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip is intact with moderate wear, deluxe brass fittings have a uniform patina and retain 75-80% of their gilt finish. Black painted steel scabbard retains approximately 80% of its original finish, with moderate freckling and scattered marks throughout, as well as four 1/8" dings. CONDITION: Overall excellent condition. B) German WWII Heer deluxe Dove Head sword with "F.W. Holler, Solingen" marked 33" blade, with light runner and scattered marks. Blade has approximately 20 tiny nicks on the edge, and the tip has been damaged. Wire-wrapped black trylon grip displays light wear and damage, with a one inch crack present under the pommel, and three wire strands being loose. Deluxe brass fittings retain approximately 70% of their gilt finish with moderate patina. Steel scabbard retains 45-50% of its originally applied black painted finish, with heavy freckling, scrapes and marks. CONDITION: Overall good to very good. WZ
