German c. 1620, this flask measures about 9 - 1/2" tall. Scrimshawed throughout with a coat of arms, a night wearing a morian before a crowned king and other Renaissance decoration. This flask is most unusual featuring a conventional brass spout and with an iron priming mechanism at the base. CONDITION: Beautiful golden honey patination throughout the horn. Iron components are dark and unpolished. Horn body is in very fine original condition. The brass portion of the spout has been repaired at the seam. A very good flask. DG
