LOT OF 2: CIVIL WAR BOWIE KNIVES.

A) Confederate side knife in untouched condition. Measuring 16-5/8" overall with a heavy 11-1/4" clipped point blade. Iron diamond shaped cross guard and one-piece oak grip with iron pommel cap. CONDITION: Blade exhibits an edge chip and dark surface. Grip with tight cracks. B) Double edge spear point knife measuring 12-1/4" overall with a 7-7/8" blade. Iron cross guard and one-piece oak handle with lead pommel. Leather lined tin scabbard produced with a 2-3/4" cut-out on the face exposing the leather interior and tin belt loop on the reverse. CONDITION: Sharpened blade with a mostly grey surface. Grip very good with minor wear. Scabbard showing moderate wear and a break to the leather. DG
