A) Japanese embroidery measuring 19-5/8" X 22". Depicting an eagle perched atop an American shield with stand of flags. Under the flags is an embroidered frame which contains a photograph of a Spanish-American War period United States Marine Corps private. Over the eagle is embroidered, "In Memory Of My Cruise, China, Japan And Philippine Islands. Piece has been professionally framed. CONDITION: Embroidery shows some minor color run. Background brown velvet shows wear and scattered edge rips. B) Chinese embroidery measuring 15-1/2" X 25-3/4". Featuring crossed American and Chinese flags with 6th Marine Division insignia positioned in the center and with "U.S.M.C. Tsingtao China 1946" embroidered at the bottom. CONDITION: Colors show fading and piece exhibits a few areas of wear. C) Piece of the back of a tour jacket measuring 10" X 13" dated 1955-56 with Marine emblem and flags. CONDITION: Poor. Showing much wear and damage. D) Asian embroidered panel measuring 12" X 16". Featuring six flags of the countries and a list of the names of the cities visited by the original US Navy or Marine Corps owner. CONDITION: Excellent showing minor wear. E) Embroidered patriotic picture featuring an American flag framing a photograph of four young boys dressed as soldiers. Framed. 12" X 14". CONDITION: Very good with minor wear. DG
