Shinogi zukuri blade with a notare hamon. 2 relatively well cut bohi, 1 wide and 1 shallow. Suriage nakago with 2 mekugi-ana, lower mekugi-ana bifurcated. Attractive mokume hada with nicely visible nie. Gold foil cracked ice habaki. Mumei nakago with very slightly slanted kiri yasurime. Mounted in shirasaya resting mounts with horn escutcheon around mekugi and mekugi koguchi. Accompanied by NBTHK authentication papers. CONDITION: Blade is in good polish with nicely visible hada and some scattered shintetsu and ware. Three openings in the steel underneath the habaki. Mounts are very good. A very nice, well sized blade with great architecture. EW
