Lot consists of: (A) WWII US front seam fixed bale helmet with what appears to be post WWII applied navy camouflaged paint. The helmet retains its heat stamp that reads "141B" denoting a McCord contract helmet. The helmet is missing the liner. CONDITION: The helmet retains most of the blue camouflaged paint and exhibits various dents, as if someone shot at it with a BB gun. The name "Jim" is painted in yellow on the front along with a star. The canvas chin strap is in very good condition and shows no signs of fraying. Overall very good. (B) Vietnam War era rear seam swivel bale M1 ARVN Rangers helmet with liner. CONDITION: The helmet displays almost all of its original green paint and the ARVN Ranger insignia is still vibrant. The heat stamp is obscured. The helmet contains its original liner which retains almost all of it's original paint. The liner has all of the original hardware except for the chin strap. Overall very good. (C) US M1 rear seam swivel bale helmet with liner. The helmet retains its heat stamp that reads "1120B". The liner is marked with the Westinghouse Electric Company "W". CONDITION: Helmet shell retains most of its original paint but displays blemishes from service wear. The canvas chin strap is in very good condition and shows no signs of fraying. Liner retains most of its original paint and still retains its original hardware which remains sturdy. (D) US M1 rear seam swivel bale helmet with liner. The heat stamp is obscured. The liner is marked with the Westinghouse Electric Company "W" as well as "CAPAC". CONDITION: Helmet shell retains almost all of its original green paint. The canvas chin strap is in very good condition and shows no signs of fraying. Liner was never painted and still retains its original hardware which remains sturdy and clean. Overall excellent. (E) US M1 rear seam swivel bale helmet with liner. The helmet retains its heat stamp that reads "117F". The liner is marked with the Westinghouse Electric Company "W". CONDITION: Helmet shell retains most of its original paint but displays blemishes from service wear. The canvas chin strap is in very good condition and shows no signs of fraying. Liner still retains most of its original paint but also displays blemishes. The liner is missing the canvas webbing in the center and the leather chin strap is cracking. Overall very good. JD
