Large format 1936-1937 silver gelatin print of the Hindenburg in flight signed with 6 signatures of officers and crew that were on board during the famous disaster that befell the airship at Lakehurst, New Jersey on May 6, 1937. The most prominent autographs being that of the Hindenburg's captain, Max Pruss. Also included is Capt Ernst A. Lehmann, observer (killed at Lakehurst), Albert Sammt, Senior Watch Officer, Rudolph Sauter, the Chief Engineer, Willy Speck, Chief Radio Officer (Killed at Lakehurst) and one other signature that deserves further research. Most signed Hindenburg photos that exist were signed post-disaster and were primarily by passengers.
