A French Art Nouveau gilt cast bronze and glass desk lamp by Le Verre Francias, with a decorated acid-etched and carved purple decoration against a red orange background, atop a gilt bronze Art Nouveau base with adjustable head. The shade is signed on the top “Le Verre Francais”. C. 1915. The shade is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The lower rim is free of any chips or flea bites. The lamp base is in very good condition with no breaks or dents. There is a small dark area to the finish on the foot of the base.
