Housed in an original period frame, marked in the bottom left-hand corner "Donaldson Brothers, Five Points, N.Y.". A brightly colored, highly graphic Civil War-era advertisement for Rising Sun Stone Polish. Has beautiful woman holding product, Mammy in the background holding product and the young boy also holding product. Stunning war time wife is also holding letter to civil war hero/husband expressing her love, and mentions the best wishes and gratitude from the faithful Mammy. Hard to find a more graphic, action-packed piece. A fantastic early addition to any collection. Minty!
