Dated 1917 coin in top is in excellent condition, initial on side indicates it was given as a gift. 3" sterling handle with snakewood shaft is hand-turned and segmented to look like bamboo, ferrule is nickel and steel. Snakewood is the rarest and most expensive wood in the world. A shaft would cost $500 if one could even be found. C. 1917. 36 - 1/2".
