Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain. Later Issue of First American Edition. Publisher Charles L. Webster & Company, 1885. There are several printing variations or "states" of this first edition, and this is a corrected state of the first edition with points corrected. A wonderful copy bound in the ORIGINAL publisher's green cloth. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was first published on December 10, 1884 by Chatto & Windus in London and by Dawson Brothers in Montreal. This Collectible Later Issue of First American Edition was published by Charles L. Webster and Company, run by Twain’s nephew, Charles Webster, who published the first American edition of the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in 1885. This version is complete, and features 174 illustrations by E.W. Kemble.
