A lovely set of four, antique, early 20th century art nouveau bronze sconces, finished in gold dore, with mica shades. Each of the 4 sconces with 3 arms and sockets, retaining the original Edison bakelite paddles. The sconces are decorated with gold leaves surrounding the sockets. Included are the 12 original gold and mica shades. Some loss to the mica in 5 of the shades. Dimensions: Each sconce is 16” wide by 11” tall. Provenance: From the original collection of the Maybrook Mansion in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, originally built by liquor baron, real estate developer and art collector Henry Clay Gibson in 1881.

Condition: (Very Good).
