An impressive large patinated bronze portrait plaque of Mary Crosby Hunt, executed in high relief by Enid Yandell (1869 - 1934). Yandell, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, was one of America's pioneering women sculptors. Marked on the side in cast: "Enid Yandell Sculptor New York MDCCCXCVIII". In good condition, commensurate with age and use, with normal patina oxidation.
