A beautiful Luneville vase by Muller Freres. The 14 - 1/2" vase has a round bottom and square mouth. It has a background of frosted and mottled yellow glass towards the top, becoming a frosted and mottled purple at the bottom. It is decorated with cameo cut butterflies and ribbon-shaped foliage in yellows, blues, purples and greens. It is further embellished with flecks of gold throughout. The vase is signed "Muller Fres Luneville". It is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips or scuffs.
