14k yellow gold Elgin National Watch Co., Elgin, Illinois , Grade 27, Model 2, heavy Box-Hinge Hunter Cased Pocket Watch, Circa 1893. Movement marked "B.W. Raymond", #4695875, 18s, 15 jewels. Beautifully decorated case with worn hand engraving and monogram opposite 24 pieces of inlaid gold quartz on front cover. Case marked "C.W.MFG.CO" & "14K". Includes 14k gold pocket watch chain set with 13 pieces of inlaid gold quartz, measuring 13" in length and marked "14K" inside swivel clasp. Watch case body has two very small dents present. Box-hinge is dented in each corner with one small area of damage. Dial has some hairline cracks present.
