All Seeing Eye of God cane, c. 1790. The eye is hand blown glass and the handle is silver. the ferrule is 4 - 1/2" inches and wood. This indicates it was made before 1790. Roads before 1790 were flat and muddy so the ferrules had to be long. After 1790, the roads were crowned so the water would run off the roads and they were not as muddy.
