This lot consists of two canes. The first cane is a riding crop cane used to open the gate when riding through different fields. The handle screws off to reveal a knife used to clean the horses hooves. The second cane is a polychromed rooster riding crop cane. The rooster head has hand blown glass eyes. It also has a wrist strap. The entire cane is covered in stitched leather and is flexible. The ferrule is brass and steel. Riding crop canes are not made to hold people up. Riding crop canes are very rare, riding crops are not. The riding crop canes were used when the owner got to his destination.
