A beautiful large 19th century Black Forest 38" tall wall wood clock with a magnificent carved hunt theme. Includes musical instruments at the top, carved game birds on both side of the clock and vines with grapes and leaves. Carved face on dial with Roman numerals plaques and entirely hand-carved. Face of the clock marked with words "Masquelier-Mannesie A Lilke", and measures 14 - 3/4" wide. This clock hung in the showroom of the Masquelier-Mannesie gun shop in Liege Belgium. An exceptional size and quality of this beautiful piece. Measuring 38" tall, 28" wide and 4 - 3/4" in diameter.
