3 crotals in center. 1 is marked "ST2", believed to be an old John Starr (In business 1882) marking, has stars in the petals. The 2 other crotals marked "SI", the "I" meaning "J" in old English, also believed to be early Starr. Total of 32 bells all together, shank type, single throat, 2 core holes and on a new leather strap. Does not have protective backing strap.
