Hamilton gimbaled open face white metal US Army pocket watch modal 4992B, circa 1941. Movement #4C25121, 16s, 22 jewel. Case diameter is 51.5mm. Marked "AN 5740, MFR'S PART NO. 4992B, SERIAL NO. AF-42-13803, CONTRACT NO. W535 ac-28072, HAMILTON WATCH CO." on back cover. White 12/24 hour dial marked "Hamilton" with black steel spade hands. Case marked inside back cover "Keystone Co. Base Metal 665017". Watch is housed in a heavy brass spring gimbal case with brass tag marked "CASE, CARRYING, WATCH, NAVIGATION, U.S. ARMY A.C., TIME LABORATORY, TECUMSEH, MICHIGAN, U.S.A". Running.
