Tall and delicate pair of Japanese gilt bronze Neoclassical candlesticks handcrafted by Nogami Ryuki, end of the Meiji through the Taisho era period (late 19th/early 20th century). Beautifully designed candlesticks to bring timeless style to any home décor, featuring grape vines at the candle holder, lizards crawling down the slim stem and carved claw feet for the base. Marked with cast letters reading "AD". They are in very good to excellent condition, commensurate with age and use, with some candle wax residue inside of the holders and minor gilt wear.
