Early Model 1930 C96 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Mauser for commercial sales. Left side of frame bears the Mauser banner logo, with the right side bearing Mauser's manufacturer information. Top chamber flat also bears Mauser's manufacturer information, with an unusual circle proof on the right flat, and a "(Crown) / U" commercial proof on the left flat. Underside of barrel bears a KFS import stamp. Metal components exhibit a blued finish, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved grips. Receiver and lock mechanism frame are matching, while remaining components are unnumbered. Pistol is accompanied by a Chinese brown leather holster. CONDITION: Metal components retain fair amounts of their blue finish, exhibiting wear, thinning, surface oxidation, and pitting overall. Poor bore, exhibiting pitting and traces of rifling throughout. Grips exhibit smoothing and some scattered nicks and marks from handling and storage. Holster is very good.
