U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Quality Hardware between March of 1944 and May of 1944. 18" "W" marked blued barrel dated "11-43" with Flaming Bomb. Arsenal post-War rebuilt rifle, most likely for use in Austria, with "EU" marked milled front sight and Type III rear sight and bayonet style "MMQ" marked front band. Trigger guard marked "LGKOO/1187" which stands for "LANDES GENDARMERIE KOMMANDO OBER OSTERRIECH" and a rack number. Quality Hardware marked trigger group with mixed parts and later flip safety and M-2 style magazine release. 2-piece detachable unmarked spring tube. Recoil shield marked with "PR-B". "N" marked slide well with "U" marked round style bolt. Hardwood oval cut low-wood stock marked with paper tag in sling well with cut for M-2. Hardwood 2-rivet top wood. Comes with leather sling and CMP Authenticity Paper. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. A great looking carbine.
