Blade measures 35" and has 2 fullers, one that runs for nearly the full length of the blade, while the other is approximately 3/4 length. Signed in the fillers "XXIIXX ANDRIA XXIIXX / XXIIXX FARARRA XXIIXX". Elaborate hilt with Stirling style rounded bars, with piercings including dots, heads, and other geometrics, with light incise line engraving and rocker engraving. Later oversized leather wrapped grip. Pommel decorated with slashes. Blade has been married to hilt and a spacer has been installed to keep blade from wobbling. CONDITION: Metal is a base gunmetal grey, with some surface level mossing and scattered marks from age throughout; some staining present. Blade has areas of pitting, heavier in the 3rd quarter or so. Hilt en suite with some heavier staining, particularly towards pommel. Leather replaced, with indent, probably intended for braided wire. Capstan molested.
