Out of the 450 Lugers obtained by Siam in 1936 and 1937, of which only 100 were artillery models. Stamped on the toggle is the Mauser Banner logo, and on top of the chamber is "1936". On the left side of the receiver is a "(Crown) / U" inspector's proof. It is import marked just below the serial number. 'ODEN/ALEX VA/9MM/GERMANY'' It has four correct Thai characters on the back of the frame. This is an all matching numbers gun including the correct magazine and correct shoulder stock. The stock is numbered on the left forward side instead of on the iron. CONDITION: This gun retains some of the original factory applied blue finish. Most of the gun has turned to a pleasing brownish patina. Fair bore with some slight frosting in the lands and grooves. The checkering on the grips show some wear. they are not cracked or chipped. The original stock is in good condition. A very rare and desirable contract Luger.
