Manufactured in 1956. Standard short wood carbine with hooded ramp front sight, replacement buckhorn rear sight, and checkered steel butt plate. The frame with hand engraved deep relief American scroll with buck in a wood scene on left side and a gold inlaid moose (?) on right side. Nearly the entire length of barrel is engraved as are bands and lever. The stock and forearm are hand carved in leaf and acorn pattern. CONDITION: Excellent as custom finished retaining nearly all its finish with minor handling marks. Stocks show nominal impressions. Mechanically functional. Bore is bright. From the Robert C.
