Manufactured in 1917. The basis for this custom is a standard saddle ring carbine with a post front sight, a folding ladder rear sight and curved steel butt plate. The frame is finely hand engraved with moose on left side and ram on right, complete surrounded by fine English scroll engraving. En suite engraving extends about 10" from breech as well as at muzzle. The bands, lever, and butt plate are also engraved. The oil finished walnut stocks are hand checkered. The hammer is jeweled with a gold plated trigger. CONDITION: Excellent. Shows as near new retaining virtually all of the custom finish with minor handling marks. Mechanically functional. Bore is bright. From the Robert C. Renneberg Collection
