Manufactured in 1937. this transition model features the old school metal carbine butt plate and long forearm but has the hooded ramp front sight. The barrel has the type 7 legend. Standard features with a replaced buckhorn rear sight. The frame is a satin finish as are barrel bands and butt plate. The frame features nearly full coverage hand cut oak leaf engraving. Both barrel bands and butt plate are also engraved. The stocks features a deluxe hand cut oak leaf checkering pattern. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all of the custom applied finish showing only minor handling marks. Mechanically fine. Bore is bright. Stunning little carbine. From the Robert C. Renneberg Collection
