This special order deluxe shipped on October 28, 1902. It sports a scarcely seen blued octagon barrel with factory Lyman blade front sight and semi-buckhorn rear. Deluxe checkered splinter forend with ebony inlay. Checkered straight grip walnut stock with crescent rifle butt plate. Receiver tang stamped with "14342 XXX" assembly number and wood grade, a non matching "95 / 15319" assembly or work order number stamped on the butt. Likely a factory replacement.
