Winchester Model 21 Skeet Grade 16 ga ejector gun with “Winchester Proof Steel” 28” barrels. The gun is choked negative and improved cylinder while the barrels are marked “WS-1” and “WS-2”. Length of pull of 15” to a checkered butt. Prince of Wales stock with a Winchester marked black plastic grip cap, mechanical single selective trigger, auto-safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the safety catch, “R” and “L” for barrel selection engraved by the trigger, hold open top lever, matted concave rib, front and mid beads, checkered wrist, and checkered beavertail forend. The barrels are a combination of dovetail and chopper lump styles. Serial numbers match on the action, barrels, forend iron, and forend wood. Underside of action marked “SKEET” ahead of the trigger guard. Circa 1948 gun with 2 ¾” chambers. Unengraved sculpted blued action and furniture. Walnut stock and forend with good figure. CONDITION: Very good overall. Bluing on barrels remains very good with muzzle and breach end starting to silver from slip use and wear from handling. Evidence of minor oxidation barrels. The bluing on action at 95% plus with minor wear commensurate with age. Bores rate excellent. The checkering remains in excellent condition while the stock with some scratches is in very good condition. Top lever left of center, barrels are slightly off face, and ejectors are in time.
