Very seldom offered “PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT” marked Harrington & Richardson M16A1. From a longtime forward-thinking collector we are able to offer this high original condition M16A1 machine gun in exactly the configuration used by the U.S. military. There are three 20 round and three 30 round magazines included with this lot along with a spare firing pin, April 1977 dated operator’s manual, a 1980 dated Armorer/Depot manual, February 1978 American Rifleman article on “Ball Powder & The M16” and Guns & Ammo “Assault Rifles” magazine an M16 article by Peter Kokalis. This gun is in true classic in the configuration so well known to American military personnel. Bayonet lug, triangular handguards, forward assist, and windage only adjustable rear sight. Electronic NFA registry indicates "HARRINGTON AND RICHARDSON as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original matte finish. Composite furnishings near excellent. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun.
