Fabulous, still new in box except for test fire, Israeli Military Industries UZI model B as converted by Fleming to a machine gun. Some of us are old enough to remember Fleming’s advertisements prior to May 1986: “Send me your semi-auto and I will send you back a machine gun”. Those were wonderful days for the full-auto enthusiast. The consignor of this gun was forward thinking and acquired one of these and kept everything in fabulous condition. Three 16 round magazines, original web sling, takedown tool, short dummy barrel, and spare barrel retention nut are included with this lot as are the original plastic box and Action Arms Ltd. Cardboard sleeve for the box. Gun is marked “Uzi SMG /.45 A.C.P. / “IMI – ISRAEL” on left side of receiver with “ACTION ARMS, LTD / Phila, Pa.” and serial number on right side of receiver. The Uzi is a particularly attractive and sought-after machine gun, and the .45 ACP chambering is the most sought-after of all. Electronic NFA Registry indicates “FLEMING, WILLIAM DBA FLEMING FIREARMS” as the manufacturer. PROVENANCE: Exploded view diagram with parts list, “Gun News” magazine highlighting the Uzi, May 2019 American Rifleman pages, “An Essential Uzi Guide”, an original advertisement from Group Industries for the Uzi HR 4332, with 3 year pocket calendar (1985, 1986, 1987), and Uzi Model B instruction manual, and a Mini-Uzi Carbine instruction manual. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent, original blued and black enameled finish. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent, as are the accessories. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. An exceptional and unprecedented find for the forward-thinking investor/collector.
