Lot includes a Volant piece, circa 1560. Piece is made entirely out of hand-forged steel, with nice hammer marks and age on the inside and plenty of lamination marks on the outer surface. The outer surface is covered in fairly new red surface rust but can be easily cleaned. Rust has not yet caused any visible heavy pitting. Lot also includes a shoulder guard, circa 1600. Piece is from an entirely different suit of armor, as the decoration is totally different on both pieces. The shoulder guard has a wide embossed border along the outer edges, enhanced by a raised rope border and the inner edges have a double line incised engraving. Made of hand-forged steel with good hammer marks on the inside, nice early folded borders on the inside as well and a lot of lamination showing on inner and outer surfaces. Lightly covered with fresh red rust that can be easily cleaned. Piece is covered sporadically with light to medium pitting.

Condition: (Excellent).

Item Dimensions: Largest: 11" x 13".
LOT OF 2: UNASSOCIATED ARMOR ATTACHMENTS.
