Steel head is possibly 16th century, however the shaft and straps are much later. Steel parts are heavily pitted and covered with a deep, very old patina and are covered by a light coat of fresh red rust, which can be easily cleaned. Octagonal wooden shaft is 19th century or later.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
